The OG Bitcoin Meme

$Bitcorn is one of the first Bitcoin memes,

reborn as a memecoin on the Solana blockchain.

Community-driven and culture-backed,

it continues the legacy of crypto’s meme history.

How Bitcorn Started

There was no specific time and place where "Bitcorn" was coined. It was just a play on words.

The term was popularized after a professor from Boston University (Mark Williams) said “bitcorn” at a US House hearing on Bitcoin in 2014.

He was named "Professor Bitcorn" by the community.

Anyway, the term bitcorn stuck.

Now people shorten it to the "corn", and Bitcoin holders worldwide refer to “bitcorn” every day.
